Plastek UK is Plastics Industry Processor of the Year

Having been nominated in no less than three categories in the Plastics Industry Awards 2017, Plastek UK was delighted to win the coveted accolade of Processor of the Year.

Members of the Plastek UK team were thrilled to scoop the prestigious title of ‘Processor of the Year’ in front of 800 of their Plastics industry colleagues at a Masquerade Ball themed gala evening, hosted by the TV Presenter Nick Knowles, at the London’s Hilton on Park Lane hotel. Now in their 17th year, the Plastics Industry Awards aim to reward innovation and exceptional performance throughout the world of polymer manufacturing, and have become a highlight of the industry’s calendar.

Having based their award submission on the company’s remarkable pattern of consistent overall growth and commercial success, Plastek UK was described by the judging panel as having established itself as, “a leading supplier of moulded packaging to the highly competitive FMCG sector, co-operating with major customers on creative designs and using state-of-the-art multi-component moulding” to great effect.

“This recognition from our own industry is very welcome,” said Plastek UK General Manager Mick Shaw, “and reflects a tremendous amount of work and real commitment to the future.”
